Hi, I'm Crystal.  I grew up on the central coast of California.  While I was attending Albert's School of Hair Design, in 2001, I worked at That Look as an assistant.  The progressive atmosphere at That Look is conducive for career cosmetologists.  I enjoy all aspects of my work.  Creating a perfectly designed cut with complimentary color and a great finished style.  I take the time to listen to my clients.   I need to know if you prefer a wash and wear style or if you prefer blow drying and hot tools, either way I know some great tips to make your routine easier and more effective.  I love to color hair!  I enjoy natural colors that are easy to maintain as well as pushing the boundaries, using modern techniques to create funky colors and extreme designs.   Your special events are important to me, I pride myself in creating updo designs as well as my talent as a make-up artist.  I enjoy giving each client the personal attention they deserve and look forward to.

Some of my favorite things:

Favorite shampoo: Color Extend, for it's rich moisturizing and ability to minimize fading hair color.

Favorite conditioner: Color Extend Conditioner makes the hair feel fabulous without weighing it down.

Favorite styling/finishing product: Align stops frizz, smooths the hair and helps it to conform for round brush styling.

Favorite gel/wet styling product:  Full Frame mousse is a great volumizing product that also works well for scrunching curls.

Favorite hair spray: Workforce is pliable while styling and has great hold for finish work.

Favorite skin care product: Bioelements Recovery Serum applied before foundation helps seal in moisturizer making your skin feel unbelievably soft and smooth.  Your foundation goes on easily and evenly.

Cosmetic that you can’t do without: Bioelements Powder Concealer is great!  It eliminates blemishes, redness and dark circles.

Best hair styling tip:  Learn to us a round brush.  Apply products to damp hair.  Dry your hair most of the way with a regular flat brush, use the round brush to finish and style.  It cuts time and effort with great results.

Favorite Color:  Black goes with everything.
